Ayios Epiktitos is a unique tavern on the beautiful hill of Armenohori with possibly the most beautiful view in a tavern in Cyprus.
The food at Ayios Epiktitios is exceptional, one of the best Cyprus Meze I’ve had, with attention to detail and personal interest in improving the whole time.
The owner of the tavern explained to us how they started small, with only one small grill and how slowly-slowly they have grown as one of the best taverns in Limassol and Cyprus.

The owner came repeatedly to our table to check if everything was alright, and he said to us that there are dishes that he would love in a different way cooked, in his personal taste, he is constantly searching for how to improve the dishes served and how to refine the experience in his tavern.
That alone can explain the outstanding quality of food served.
There you can enjoy juicy souvlakia, fine grilled liver, sieftalia, fresh baked bread, boiled halloumi, which is exceptional and a rare find in Cyprus, keftedes (meatballs), pomilorotiania or aka tomatoes with eggs. As well as, pourgouri (Bulgur), glytzia [which you should find out yourself what it is ] ofto kleftiko and for very demanding customers, resi, although I personally am not a big fan of it, I have to admit it was pretty good.
New dishes are being added to the meze as the owner is restless and is committed to constantly updating and upgrading the menu. always adds dishes to the meze.

All in all, Ayios Epiktitos, the name which is an homage to the occupied village of the father of the owner, is an experience and a must, I am pretty sure that going there will leave you satisfied and full.
The view is magical, the food is exceptional and the staff are very welcome, try it yourselves and let us know what you think.
