Η Ανίτα είναι μια εξαιρετική πιανίστρια με Σέρβικη καταγωγή που ζει, εργάζεται και δημιουργεί στην Κύπρο τα τελευταία 16 χρόνια.
Έχει δημιουργήσει την οικογένεια της εδώ και συμμετέχει σε εγχώρια και διεθνή κονσέρτα στο εξωτερικό.
“WINTER SOLSTICE”
Ο δίσκος αντλεί έμπνευση από τη συντομότερη, την πιο σκοτεινή μέρα του χρόνου, μετά από την οποία οι μέρες αρχίζουν σταδιακά να μεγαλώνουν. Η στιγμή που βασιλεύει το πιο βαθύ σκοτάδι συμπίπτει χρονικά με τη στιγμή που το εκκρεμές αρχίζει να γέρνει προς το φως. Η στιγμή του τέλους και της παρακμής, η στιγμή μιας νέας αρχής και ελπίδας. Η στιγμή που το φως δυναμώνει, σε μια προσπάθεια να επικρατήσει του σκότους. Μία αέναη διαιώνιση ζωής. Το άλμπουμ στόχο έχει να παρατηρήσει τον κόσμο γύρω μας και μέσα μας, ως έναν ιερό χώρο, ατέρμονο, που αλλάζει παντοτινά με την υποσυνείδητη παρουσία μας, μεταφέροντας την ελπίδα ενός νέου φωτός, συνεχούς ανανέωσης και, διά μέσου αυτών, μίας ισχυρής αφύπνισης. Ένα μικρού μήκους βίντεο με τίτλο «Χειμερινό Ηλιοστάσιο / Δεκέμβριος ΙΙΙ» σε σκηνοθεσία Marko Nikolic γυρίστηκε στο Βελιγράδι και αποτελεί μία οπτική ιστορία που συνοδεύει το ηχητικό άλμπουμ, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει συνθέσεις του Σέρβου συνθέτη Andreja Andric σε εκτέλεση της πιανίστας Anita Tomasevich.
Το άλμπουμ κυκλοφόρησε στις 19 Δεκεμβρίου 2021 από τη γνωστή γερμανική δισκογραφική εταιρεία WANDELWEISER.
Θα ακολουθήσουν συναυλίες και παρουσίαση του δίσκου στην Κύπρο, τη Δανία και τη Σερβία.
Στην Κύπρο, η παρουσίαση του CD και η συναυλία θα πραγματοποιηθούν στο CORNARO ART INSTITUTE την Κυριακή 8 Μαΐου στις 6 μ.μ. Οδός Κεραμοποιείου1Α, Λεμεσός.
Γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στο Βελιγράδι, όπου άρχισε μαθήματα πιάνου στην ηλικία των 6. Σπούδασε
στο Τμήμα Πιάνου της Ακαδημίας Τεχνών του Πανεπιστήμιου Novi Sad (Σερβία), όπου απέκτησε
πτυχίο Β.Α. με άριστα και μεταπτυχιακό Μ Mus Piano Performance στην τάξη της Svetlana Bogino
and του Vladimir Ogarkov (πρώην μαθητή του Emil Gilels). Συνέχισε τις σπουδές της στο Βασιλικό
Ωδείο στην Ολλανδία, όπου σπούδασε με τον Marcel Boudet και την Ellen Corver.
Παρουσιάστηκε εκτενώς σε όλη την Ευρώπη, συμπεριλαμβανομένων συναυλιών στη Ρωσία,
Ολλανδία, Ιταλία, Ισπανία και έκανε πολλές εμφανίσεις στο εθνικό ραδιόφωνο και τηλεόραση. Έχει
κερδίσει το πρώτο βραβείο στο Διεθνή Διαγωνισμό Πιάνου της Tortona (Ιταλία, 1997).
Μέσα από διάφορα master-classes σπούδασε με παγκοσμίου φήμης πιανίστες όπως η Yelena Ρίχτερ,
Jegor Chugajev, Konstantin Bogino, Stefan Vladar, Jan Wijn, Lazar Berman και Georgy Sandor.
Το 2005 κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο της CD με έργα των Scarlatti, Chopin, Scriabin και Prokofiev. Το
2006 η καριέρα της ως πιανίστας, σταμάτησε από τραυματισμό στη σπονδυλική στήλη. Το 2013 είχε
την πρώτη της συναυλία, μετά από επτά χρόνια ανάρρωσης, μετά την οποία συνέχισε με μουσική
δωματίου και σόλο ρεσιτάλ λαμβάνοντας εξαιρετικές κριτικές.
Η Anita είναι ιδρυτής και καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του “Avaton Music Festival”, Διεθνές φεστιβάλ
σύγχρονης μουσικής. Σήμερα ζει στην Κύπρο.

Anita Tomasevich (piano) performs extensively around Europe. She has
wide musical interests, from Scarlatti and Bach to the contemporary
repertoire. Her performances are characterized by strong artistry,
individualism, subtle sensibility for composers style and an impressive
stage presence. She is a laureate of international competitions, including
first prize in Citta di Tortona Italy. She studied in the Music Academy in
Novi Sad (Bmus, Mmus) and Royal Conservatoire in Den Hague She
studied with renowned teachers such as Jegor Chugayev, Svetlana Bogino
Yelena Richter, Lazar Berman, Gyorgy Sandor, among others. In 2006 her
career as a concert pianist was stopped by a spinal injury. After almost ten
years of recovery, Anita started performing again, both solo and chamber
music with the excellent critiques. As a chamber musician, Anita forms a
duo with the Romanian violinist, residing in Cyprus, Sorin Alexandru
Horlea . Anita was the founder and the Artistic Director of the Avaton
International Music Festival, which received international recognition.
The festival hosted the first Contemporary Music Competition for
children and First experimental music platform avatonDistorted.

She is a laureate of international competitions, including 1st price in Citta Di Tortona Italy and she appeared regularly on Serbian National Radio and Television. She studied in the Music Academy in Novi Sad, Serbia (B.A. M.Mus. ) and Royal Conservatoire in Den Hague, The Netherlands and worked with renowned teachers such as Jegor Chugayev, Svetlana Bogino, Vladimir Ograkov, Yelena Richter, Lazar Berman, Gyorgy Sandor and Stefan Vladar. In 2005 she released her first CD recording with works of Scarlatti, Chopin, Scriabin and Prokofiev. In 2006 her career as a concert pianist was stopped by the spinal injury. After ten years of recovery, Anita started performing again, both solo and chamber music recitals in Cyprus, Italy, Holland, England and Denmark receiving excellent reviews. In 2019 she recorded her second CD “Nocturnal Ballads” with violinist Sorin Alexandru Horlea and in 2021 her third CD for solo piano “Winter Solstice” which was chosen for publishing by the esteemed German record label Edition Wandelweiser.
“WINTER SOLSTICE”
The album reflects on the darkest night of the year, after which the days start slowly becoming
longer. Time of the greatest darkness but also of when pendulum slowly starts swinging towards the
light. The time of ending and decay, but also of new beginnings and hope. Time when light starts
getting stronger, seeking to prevail over darkness, in perpetual renewal of life.
The album aims to look at the world around us and inside of us as a holy space, everlasting and
ever-changing with our unconscious presence, carrying hope of new light, constant renewal and
through it all, a possible awakening.
Short video “Winter Solstice/December III” was created as a visual story accompanying a sounding
story presented on the CD “Winter Solstice”composed by Serbian composer Andreja Andric and
performed by pianist Anita Tomasevich. It uses one track from the CD, December III, which is a
part of cycle of six pieces named “December”.
Video was shoot and created by Serbian cinema director Marko Nikolic in July 2021 in Belgrade,
Serbia.
The CD was released by the well known record company from Germany- WANDELWEISER on
December 19th 2021.
CD promotion and tour is in Spring 2022 in Cyprus, Denmark and Serbia.
The CD recording and editing was supported by SOKOJ- Serbian Society for composers and
contemporary music.
