Trash Talk No.1: Waste is all around!

The City Friends Club, organizes the first of a series of meet-ups titled “Trash Talks”, where experts, analysts, investors and residents will gather to discuss the waste crisis in Cyprus and to find business and charity solutions. The City Friends Club, a Non-Governmental Organization that arose from the need to protect the country on the basis of ecology, recognizes how beautiful Limassol is, however, at the same time, it realizes the major problems the city is facing.

As the organizers explain, at “this particular event”Trash Talk” meet-ups, we will learn where the waste is transported and why a significant part of it remains on the city streets and in the countryside that surrounds us. They will also talk about recycling going in the same pile as household waste and what is the pay-as-you-go system. Finally, there will be an open discussion in order to hear opinions and find ways to solve the problems.
